HoYoverse has announced that Honkai Star Rail is now officially available on PS5.

Along with the PS5 launch, the latest 1.4 update titled “Jolted Awake from a Winter Dream” is now live across all available platforms as well.

The PS5 version of Honkai Star Rail benefits greatly from the PS5’s exceptional hardware capabilities, ensuring minimal load times and a smoother and more seamless intergalactic adventure. The Alchemy Commission, one of the most representative locations within the Xianzhou Luofu, can be an example where the game seamlessly delivers volumetric fog and renders high-quality water features, creating lifelike representation with intricate layers of the level design and varying wavelengths that produce authentic motion and reflections, respectively.

In addition to these improvements, the development team also remains committed to enhancing the player experience by developing new content and optimizing existing elements through long-term content updates.

The 1.4 update will see new characters such as Jingliu, Topaz & Numby, and Guinaifen make their debuts. Alongside this, the “Interastral Tournament Festival” invites Trailblazers to dive into the world of Aetherium Wars, where they can collect and nurture their own Aether Spirits.
