Resident Evil Village makes upgrades more integral to your survival
Resident Evil Village, the latest installment in the long running series, is making some changes to highlight the upgrade system and make it an integral part of the experience.
Thanks to a sneak peek from Game Informer, we get to see how Ethan can work to even out the odds against Lady Dimitrescu and the other fiends in the Village, which includes upgrading various aspects of your arsenal and yourself through the in-game NPC called The Duke.
At one point in the video, Ethan can be seen hunting the various wildlife found in the game, which in turn he can cook with and gain various permanent upgrades in the game.
Resident Evil Village also comes with currency called Lei, which can be obtained by killing off the foes in the game, either by picking it up directly or by selling various items. This offers players who are a bit trigger happy that their killing sprees will be rewarded in some way and not just a waste of ammo.
Current gen players need not worry, as the game looks and runs great on a PS4 pro.
Resident Evil VIllage is scheduled to be released on May 7, 2021 for the PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, and Xbox One and Series X/S.
