505 games have announced that Ghostrunner 2 has been greenlit and will be heading to the PS5, Xbox Series, and PC. Definitely great news for fans wanting a sequel to the game that was considered to be quite a surprise success story, selling over 600,000 copies during its first 4 months of release.

The press release mentions the investment for the creation of Ghostrunner 2 has doubled, owing to its continuous success and great potential.

No other details have been given, apart from the fact that this release will be a purely “next-gen” release and will leverage on the newer hardware to bring in a thrilling experience.

The first Ghostrunner game will also have a PS5 and Xbox Series version scheduled later this year.
