Valorant introduces the Replication game mode and the Tethered Realms skin line

Following the Breeze Map Update, Riot Games has just introduced a new game mode named Replication Game Mode and the Tethered Realms skin line to Valorant.

Valorant Replication Game Mode

Replication has the same rules as an unrated match but all players on the same team use the same agent and the goal is to reach 5 round wins.

Unlike unrated and competitive though, in Replication, guns, shields, and abilities (except the Ultimate) are refreshed every round. In addition, you’ll have a set amount of Creds each round regardless of win/loss and it is as follows:

  • 900
  • 2400
  • 3900
  • 6000

It will replace Escalation temporarily but the company has said to keep it up for two weeks. After which, the team will follow a mode rotation strategy but details on this is will be announced later on.

“With Replication, we are looking to create exciting and novel moments by widening the player theorycrafting space while highlighting Agent abilities. Quintupling down on Agents that were balanced around normal Agent restrictions, we’ve created lots of hilarious near game-breaking plays for players to discover.”

The Tethered Realms skin line, on the other hand, explores the tethered realms of Sovereign and Forsaken. It introduces a new skin line for the Vandal, Operator, Ghost, Guardian, and melee. The melee skin called Prosperity & Demise has two levels, at level 1 you get the Sovereign Sword with custom moving textures, while at level 2 you get a dual wield weapon comprised of Sovereign Sword and Forsaken Ritual Dagger with custom design.
