VALORANT has just released Episode 2 Act III, which introduces the new Breeze Map, a new Forsaken skin line, and a new Battlepass.
Valorant Breeze Map
Breeze is a new map set within the southern part of the Bermuda Triangle. It has a bright, playful, and colorful enviornment with wide open spaces and opportunities for long range encounters.
“One of the main goals we had with Breeze was building larger and more open spaces with longer sightlines than the other maps in the pool. This provides an opportunity for different weapons and Agents to shine. Each map should provide different strengths and weaknesses for the Agents in the roster to explore while supporting different types of strategies and team compositions,” said Sal Garozzo, Senior Game Designer at Riot Games.
Valorant Forsaken skin line
The new Valorant Act also introduced the Forsaken skin line for the Vandal, Operator, Spectre, Classic, and a melee weapon called the Forsaken Ritual Blade. The new skin line lets you wear the remnants of the exiled Sovereign, the banished and corrupted Forsaken.
The bundle itself which includes all skins and an accessory bundle which contains a card, spray, and gun buddy goes for 7100 VP.
“We really loved Sovereign as a thematic and had built some loose “skin lore” around the theme when designing that original skin. We imagined a world where a bird-like race ruled a kingdom in the clouds, with the royal family’s guard using the Sovereign guns (instead of swords) to protect them,” said Sean Marino, Art Lead.
Valorant new Battlepass
With a new act, a new Battlepass is also introduced which brings a variety of gun skins, radianite points, gun buddies, cards, sprays, and titles. Among these include the Lightwave Phantom, Depths Vandal, and Songsteel melee weapon skins.
The new Valorant battlepass runs until June 21, 2021.
