Battlefield 2042 gameplay trailer revealed, looks absolutely bonkers

Following the official reveal last week, EA and DICE have finally revealed official Battlefield 2042 gameplay footage during the Xbox Bethesda showcase, and we’re liking what we’re seeing so far.

The gameplay is looking pretty intense and crazy, spanning huge maps and even taking place down in the ground or stop towering skyscrapers, with weather elements such as tornado’s affecting visibility and traversal. We can only imagine how crazier things get with how a battle with 128 players will look like for the current-gen consoles.

Next month, we’ll get to see more of Battlefield 2042 during EA Play on July 22, and the team promises to make the long-time players feel right at home.

Battlefield 2042 is available now for pre-order and will retail for $59.99 for PS4 and Xbox One, and $69.99 for PS5 and Xbox Series. A Gold and Ultimate Edition is also available, which will give players access as early as October 15.

Finally, a trailer that you can tell what’s in-game footage and what’s CGI by the frame rating going from 30FPS for CGI and 60FPS for in-game footage…
Battlefield 2042 > COD:Vanguard. This is basically just a remake of the finest hour from back in the PS2 days

      Well said.

The battle for FPS supremacy is going to be hella spicy later this year with BF / COD / Infinite in the mix, interesting if COD can hold its momentum.
