Kotaku reported that a GTA Remastered Trilogy is indeed coming, but tucked underneath all the hype was a snippet containing something to look forward to for Red Dead Redemption fans.

According to the Kotaku report, Rockstar also has plans for a Red Dead Redemption Remaster, which would be a big deal since the game was highly regarded as one of the best video games ever made. Now, the classic from 2010 could be making a comeback under one condition – that the GTA Remaster Trilogy sells well.

Given how long fans have been clamoring for some of the older GTA games to make their current-gen comeback, it wouldn’t be hard to imagine that the GTA Remastered Trilogy will totally make bank. Also, given the almost unrivaled success of GTAV, Rockstar is hoping to have lightning strike twice, and then hopefully a third time when the Red Dead Redemption Remaster becomes a reality.
