Shin Megami Tensei V may be headed to the PlayStation and PC
Shin Megami Tensei V was recently released for the Nintendo Switch, with beaming reviews for the latest installment in the long-running series. While it launched as an exclusive for Nintendo’s handheld device, things may change soon if new data is to be believed.
As spotted by PC Games N, Twitter user Pan-Hime has discovered via datamine that Shin Megami Tensei V’s target platforms include a PS4 and PC line. This is the same person that actually discovered the string that revealed the SMT3 Nocturne Remaster back in 2020 so while SMTV is currently a Nintendo Switch exclusive as of today, there may be chance that its exclusivity could be timed.
Add to the fact that Shin Megami Tensei V was part of the massive GeForce Now leak from a few months ago, lending more reason to believe that this could actually be real.
It won’t be too hard to believe if this happens at all, seeing the history of games from Atlus that have been released on the PlayStation and PC, but all of this remains as speculation until we receive an official confirmation.
