Cyberpunk 2077 Sales Top 18 Million, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Sells Over 40 Million
CD Projekt Red has released its latest earnings report today and with it, some staggering sales numbers for both Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher 3.
In the report and despite its troubled launch, Cyberpunk has managed to sell over 18 million copies since it launched back in December 2020. While the pace definitely slowed down compared to selling 13.7 million copies by the end of 2020, hitting these numbers is definitely still something to celebrate all things considered.
An expansion is also scheduled to release in 2023, with more news about it to come later this year.

CDPR continued to share more news, this time highlighting The Witcher franchise. In particular, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has topped 40 million copies sold, making it the biggest-selling entry in the franchise. Because of this, the series has now sold over 65 million units.
It’s not all good news though, as it was recently announced that the PS5 and Xbox Series versions of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt have been delayed indefinitely as their in-house development team is set to take over development duties for the upgrade.
