Rumored Nintendo Direct in September Said to be a ‘Zelda Blow-out’
Journalist Jeff Grubb has claimed that a Nintendo Direct is happening this month and, to the delight of Zelda fans, will feature a couple of highly-anticipated announcements.
According to Grubb, Nintendo will 100% have a Direct this month. Historically speaking, this is a safe assumption to make since the company has always had a September show, but Grubb goes on to further say that fans can look forward to the show sometime on the week of September 12.
Zelda fans will be cautiously happy about Grubb’s further statements, as he says he thinks that the show will be a “Zelda Blow-out” and a couple of titles, specifically Twilight Princess and Wind Waker HD, will be making an appearance.
“I think there’s going to be a lot of Zelda at this thing. I think this is going to be a Zelda blow-out for Nintendo.”
The specifics that were name-dropped were Twilight Princess and Wind Waker HD ports to the Switch.

Grubb has been wrong before, but he has also, for the most part, been right about a lot of the happenings in the industry, so there could indeed be something here. Maybe a BOTW2 update as well?
It’s September already, and if the claims are true, we could be hearing an official announcement from Nintendo pretty soon.
Do you think Zelda announcements are making their way to the rumored September Nintendo Direct?
