Capcom Announces Gamescom Asia 2024 Special Appearances from Ryozo Tsujimoto, Charess, and More

Capcom has announced an exciting lineup of appearances at Gamescom Asia 2024, headlined by Monster Hunter Wilds Producer Ryozo Tsujimoto, along with Street Fighter 6 Director Takayuki Nakayama and Producer Shuhei Matsumoto.
Additionally, attendees can look forward to special guest cosplayers such as Charess and Vera Chimera.
Capcom Announces Gamescom Asia 2024 Special Appearances
Monster Hunter Wilds Producer Ryozo Tsujimoto will take the stage at Gamescom Asia 2024 on the afternoon of Saturday, October 19, to share about Monster Hunter Wilds and engage with fans during the session. After the stage segment, a Meet and Greet will be open to all Monster Hunter fans attending the event!
Since 2007 with the release of Monster Hunter Freedom 2, Tsujimoto has served as the series producer overseeing all Monster Hunter titles. He is motivated by the notion that “Anyone can join and play” and continues to develop games with this philosophy in mind.
On the afternoon of Saturday, October 19, Street Fighter 6 Director Takayuki Nakayama and Producer
Shuhei Matsumoto will also be on stage at Gamescom Asia 2024 to hang out with Street Fighter fans and even play some matches on stage!
Takayuki Nakayama joined Capcom in 2001 as a background section designer. Throughout his career, he has contributed to the development of numerous home console game titles. In the Street Fighter series, he worked on Ultra Street Fighter IV and Street Fighter V. He serves as the director for Street Fighter 6.
Shuhei Matsumoto joined Capcom in 2012, he later transitioned from the development human resources department to become a producer, starting with Season 3 of Street Fighter V. He also served as the producer for Street Fighter 6 and the Capcom Fighting Collection series.
Gamescom Asia 2024 Hunter Campaign
Fans can look forward to an exclusive 1-on-1 autograph and photo session with Ryozo Tsujimoto, along with a priority ticket that allows them to skip the standby lines and dive straight into the hands-on demo for Monster Hunter Wilds.
To join the campaign, Fellow hunters can head over to Capcom Singapore’s Facebook or Instagram to showcase just how big of a Monster Hunter fan they are! Entries can include photos or videos of any Monster Hunter collections, online or offline activities, or anything related to the Monster Hunter series.
Five winners will have the exclusive opportunity to participate in a 1-on-1 autograph session before the general Meet and Greet. Additionally, they will receive a special priority ticket for the Monster Hunter Wilds hands-on demo, allowing them to skip the standby queue during Gamescom Asia 2024.

Five winners will be selected from the contest entries and each be rewarded with the following:
- Gamescom Asia ticket for October 18-20.
- Winner Exclusive Meet & Greet session with Producer Ryozo Tsujimoto on October 19 at gamescom asia.
- Special Priority Ticket for Monster Hunter Wilds Hands-on Demo at Capcom booth in gamescom asia.
- A Monster Hunter Wilds souvenir satchel and a Capcom goodie bag.
Winners will be selected by October 4, 2024 and announced on Capcom Singapore’s official social media channels. Winners will be contacted officially by Capcom Singapore with regards to prize collection.

Charess – Cosplaying as Monster Hunter Wilds’ character — Alma.
Charess will be cosplaying Alma, the skilled Handler from Monster Hunter Wilds. As the hunter’s trusted companion, Alma manages monster hunt requests, permissions, and quests, offering vital support and knowledge throughout the hunter’s adventures. Charess, known for her detailed and immersive cosplays, she is sure to wow fans with her portrayal of Alma!
Vera Chimera – Cosplaying as Monster Hunter Wilds’ character — Gemma.
Vera Chimera will be showcasing her portrayal of Gemma from Monster Hunter Wilds. Gemma, the skilled smithy with the Research Commission, is renowned for handling all weapon and armor crafting needs. Vera Chimera, celebrated for her exceptional and detailed cosplays is sure to greet fans with another amazing cosplay portraying Gemma!
