Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia has officially revealed that DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO will receive a major DLC update this summer, bringing new characters, costumes, stages, and gameplay modes to fans worldwide.
The announcement was made during the Genkidamatsuri event, accompanied by a brand-new trailer.
DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO New Characters and Music
The biggest update for this DLC is the arrival of new characters, along with other inclusions:
- Super 17, Bardock (Super Saiyan), and King Piccolo headline the roster of upcoming fighters.
- The DLC will also introduce fresh costumes and battle stages.
- Legendary singer Hironobu Kageyama returns after 18 years to perform the theme song, writing both lyrics and composition for the new track.






DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO New Modes for Players
Two new modes will expand the gameplay experience:
- Mission 100 Mode – A solo challenge featuring 100 battles with unique conditions, reminiscent of Budokai Tenkaichi 3.
- Survival Mode – Arriving this spring as a free update, testing endurance against waves of opponents.
Release Platforms and Timeline
The DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO DLC will launch this summer for PS5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam. Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 players will gain access through the Season Pass starting this winter, with additional content rolling out later.
