Hazelight Studios, developers of the latest co-op title called It Takes Two, shows off some interestingly fun gameplay, akin to how their previous title “A Way Out” placed a premium on similar mechanics.

It Takes Two features the story of Cody and May, a couple that’s on the brink of divorce, leaving their daughter Rose to create dolls that her parents magically turn into. It’s a pretty charming story, and the Cody and May will have to figure out a way to work together throughout their journey to overcome their differences, save their fractured relationship and find their path back home to their beloved daughter Rose.

According to Game Director Josef Fares, every scene in the game is unique, and story events will reflect in the gameplay as well. Most of the levels in the game will focus on new mechanics, which will force Cody and May to work together to suceed.

It Takes Two will also implement a Friend Pass system, that will require only 1 copy of the game to be played with a friend.

It Takes Two is scheduled for a March 26 release for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and PC and will retail for $39.99, or around PHP2,000.
