In celebration of the 36th Anniversary of Dragon Quest, Square Enix has announced an all-new spinoff in the series entitled Dragon Quest Treasures. Platforms and a release date have yet to be announced. The upcoming title has been confirmed for an Asian release and a teaser trailer was revealed today, featuring two young protagonists in Erik and Mia. Square Enix promised more information about the title will be coming in June so this is definitely something fans of the series will want to look out for! After recently confirming the release of an offline version of the Dragon Quest X MMO for the PS4, PS5, Switch, and PC on February 26, 2022, we finally get to see the first look at gameplay during a Play! Play! Play! showcase from PlayStation. Announced during the Dragon Quest 35th Anniversary livestream, which also saw the reveal of Dragon Quest XII, Square Enix have announced that Dragon Quest III will be receiving an HD-2D Remake similar to Octopath Traveler, and it looks absolutely superb. Square Enix announced that the critically-acclaimed, block-building RPG, Dragon Quest Builders 2, will be releasing for PC via Steam on December 11 for PHP3,199. The Steam version is available in English, Korean, Traditional Chinese upon launch and the Simplified Chinese version is still under development and will be available in early 2020.
