Assassin’s Creed Origins Might be Getting a 60FPS PS5 Update Next Week
Assassin’s Creed Origins fans waiting for a proper 60fps update for the PS5 might be in luck.
According to database-scrubbing account PlayStation Game Size, version 1.60 of the game was recently uploaded to the PlayStation database, and includes a couple of interesting items. Apart from adding a “Franchise Menu”, the other includes support for higher framerates when playing on a PS5.
The update is said to drop sometime between May 24-26, so players looking forward to this will not have to wait for too long to relive the adventures of Bayek.
While Ubisoft has not made any announcements yet, PlayStation Game Size has a pretty reliable track record for leaking database-related info, so this could be another instance where they get it right. Of course, due to the lack of an official announcement, we still advise players to take this with a grain of salt.
Assassin’s Creed Odyssey already received its 60FPS update last year, so it’s about time that Origins gets the same treatment.
