Select PlayStation Plus Classic Games Will be Getting Trophy Support
Bend Studio has announced that trophy support will be included with Syphon Filter when it arrives on the all-new PlayStation Plus.
A short teaser was shown by the studio, displaying a trophy for “An Explosive Start” followed up with another Tweet that shows that you can even get a Platinum for your efforts. This is certainly great news for trophy hunters who will be wanting to gather more trophies from the classic titles coming from the Deluxe/Premium tier of the revamped service.
While Syphon Filter is the only title currently confirmed to have trophy support, we can safely assume that other titles could offer trophy support too, so we’ll have to wait and see which of the classic games will be the next target for trophy hunters.

The new PlayStation Plus service will start its roll-out in Asia on May 24, followed by Japan on June 2, North and South America on June 13, and finally Europe, Australia, and New Zealand on June 23. During these times, subscribers will be able to access a wide catalogue of games starting from the “Extra” tier, which will allow for select PS4 and PS5 games to be played as long as you are subscribed.
Classic PS1, PS2, PS3, and PSP titles will be available via the highest tier, which is Deluxe/Premium. Syphon Filter and other classic titles like Ape Escape and Dark Cloud will be part of this tier.
