Following the fantastically dark and difficult Darkest Dungeon, Darkest Dungeon 2 finally drops their Epic Games’ Early Access trailer as eager PC gamers will finally get to experience it come October 26, 2021.

We see many new components that add to the crazy difficult rogue-lite nature of this gothic turn-based RPG. One obvious addition is the new animations that bring to life what transpires during the intense battles your units will encounter.

Some of the returning classes we’ve seen are the Leper, the Hellion, the Man-at-Arms, and of course the Plague Doctor. A big component of the game is managing the mental health of your heroes and there’s even a social aspect implied to boost your heroes’ morale.

Darkest Dungeon 2 is one of my most anticipated games coming into 2021. The console gamer in me will have to wait a bit longer, but thanks to early access, we’ll be getting the best version of the game if and when it comes out.
