Sony has been slowly ramping up its release efforts on the PC with titles like God of War and Horizon Zero Dawn. While it is still unknown what the next game will be, a Steam DB listing suggests that Housemarque’s Returnal is lined up for a PC release.

According to the SteamDB info site, a product by the codename of “Oregon” has made its way to the app, and while there isn’t any specific mention of Returnal, scrolling down the logs will show some familiar terms like the Tower of Sisyphus, Atropos, and Helios. Furthermore, other terms like Female Protagonist, Roguelite, and bullet hell make it much clearer what the game is.

Until an official announcement is made, it would be wise to take caution, and while there’s no mention of a release date yet, this lines up with Sony’s plan to bring more of its beloved franchises to the PC which would indeed increase revenue for the company.

Returnal is a triumph from Housemarque, as we gave it our Editor’s Choice rating when it was first released back in April 2021. With its Ascension DLC, in hand, it certainly becomes one of the must-play games of this console generation.
