Hot on the heels of the Crash Bandicoot 4 reveal is a brand new mobile game for both iOS and Android called Crash Bandicoot: On The Run and it is developed by King, the minds behind Candy Crush.

You can view the announce trailer below courtesy of the KingOnlineGames Youtube Channel:

Crash Bandicoot: On The Run is an endless runner, similar to games like Temple Run, and will feature our favorite marsupial in his element as he faces off against classic bosses and locations from previous Crash games. There is also a base building element of sorts where players can expand Coco’s base.

The official overview of the game can be seen below:

In Crash Bandicoot: On the Run! , Dr. Neo Cortex has dispatched iconic villains across the multiverse to take control of all dimensions. With the help of his sister Coco, Crash must bash Cortex’s minions back to their own dimensions!

Use Crash’s unstoppable energy and let the fur fly as you run, spin and slide your way to stop the dastardly Dr. Neo Cortex from destroying all worlds.

Make a mad dash through Turtle Woods, Lost City and Temple Ruins to take on classic enemies and bosses, including Scorporilla and Nitrus Brio!

Team up with Crash’s sister Coco and gather ingredients on your runs to craft wild and wacky weapons.

No release date was specified but you can pre-register via the On The Run official website. Pre-registering will get you an exclusive blue hyena skin when the game is launched.

The announcement of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 and 2 sure sent shockwaves across the gaming community and along with the original cast, some of the most preeminent pro skaters in the world today will be joining the roster.

The likes of Nyjah Huston, Leo Baker, Leticia Bufoni, Aori Nishimura, Lizzie Armanto, Shane O’Neill, Riley Hawk and Tyshawn Jones will be bringing their talents to the game when it launches on September 4.

Check out the announcement trailer below:

“Modern-day skateboarding originated from a generation of skaters who grew up playing the original Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater games,” said Michelle Bresaw, Vice President of Product Management and Marketing at Activision. “The world-class pro skaters we’re adding to this remaster took the tricks and combos from the videogame and made them possible in real life. We’re proud that the remaster will represent the skate culture landscape today with a diverse roster of skaters that will appeal to any gamer.”

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 and 2 is scheduled to release on September 4, 2020.

After the events over the weekend and with Activision literally acknowledging the leaks, the cat (or bandicoot) is finally out of the bag as Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time has officially been announced during Geoff Keighley’s Summer Game Fest.

Check out the announcement trailer below:

Nearly 22 years after the 3rd ‘numbered’ game in the series (Warped being the third), it is literally about time that our favorite marsupial makes a return and we will be seeing new powers, new playable characters (like Cortex!), but with the gameplay that we’ve come to know and love from Crash Bandicoot.

According to the PlayStation Blog, we can expect to see larger levels and a graphical overhaul unlike which we’ve seen from previous games. Crash 4 will be more vibrant and colorful, and Crash will feature “a whole new set of platforming tricks like wall running, rail grinding, and rope swinging to help you visit every nook, cranny, and secret spot.”

Also new to the game are the introduction of masks, which “give our heroes the power to bend the rules of reality and conquer dangerous obstacles in exciting new ways... Kupuna-Wa (the Time Mask), who slows down time to allow for even more precise movements. The other mask featured in the launch trailer – Ika Ika (the Gravity Mask) – will let Crash and Coco platform upside down despite the regular laws of physics!”

Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time is scheduled to release on October 2 for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One for $59.99 or around PHP3,000.

The leaks were undeniable proof, but now we can put them to rest as there will officially be a Crash Bandicoot 4 unveiling later today scheduled for 8AM Pacific or 11PM Philippine time.

This announcement comes from the official Crash Bandicoot Twitter account, which posts a playful “Official reveal > leaks” statement after all of the leaks over the weekend.

The upcoming title will officially be entitled Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time and will be developed by Toys for Bob, who also worked on the recent Spyro Reignited Trilogy.

Some recent Crash Bandicoot evidence is pointing to the possible a new game reveal very soon.

Recently, some lucky people were sent packages that included a puzzle that eventually formed what looks to be a mask of some sort. This isn’t the first time that this was done, as it was pretty much the same gimmick (via Eurogamer) prior to announcing the Crash Team Racing remake.

Notice that on the note, the word “TIME” is in all caps, signifying… something.

According to the Taiwanese age rating listings, a product entry was spotted bearing a new Crash Bandicoot game called Crash Bandicoot: It’s About Time. Coincidence? Maybe, but the evidence looks legit as legit can be.

First of all, there’s actual box art that looks too good to be just some sort of fan render which matches up pretty well to the age rating listing from above. There’s also that note on the Xbox cover that points to it being a cross-generation title, showing the Series X tag.

Also, there’s an overview of the story that says something about a Mask (similar to the puzzle above), which reads like this (Via Gematsu):

Crash is relaxing and exploring his island in his time, 1998, when he finds a mysterious mask hidden away in a cave, Lani-Loli. The mask is one of the Quantum Masks and apparently knows Aku-Aku, Crash’s mask friend! With the Quantum Masks returning and a Quantum Rift appearing near our heroes, they decide to bravely head through to different times and dimensions to stop whoever is responsible.

While Activision has not announced anything, almost all evidence points to a reveal happening soon and if proven to be true, we could be looking at the next numbered Crash game sooner rather than later!

In line with the various announcements being postponed, the new seasons for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Warzone, and Mobile will be delayed until further notice.

None other than the official Call of Duty Twitter account has posted this update as a sign of solidarity with the recent events in the United States, particularly that of the death of George Floyd.

No news when the content will be rolled out to the players, but for now, “it’s time for those speaking up for equality, justice and change to be seen and heard.”

This was not the only recent game related delay, as Sony has also pushed back on their PS5 event initially scheduled for June 4 as well due to the same reason.

Reports are now circulating that the latest iteration of Call of Duty for this year will be Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and as the title implies, we’ll be going back in time for this one.

Twitter user Okami has ‘leaked’ this photo, which could have been just any other photo edit, but the most telling indication is that it has been backed by Eurogamer sources as reported.

No other details have been confirmed as of this writing but Eurogamer has indicated that the series will be “returning to its roots with a historical setting. Treyarch’s series began in the 1960’s , before leaping into the future for its sequels.”

Call of Duty Modern Warfare: Warzone has been teasing the opening of a number of bunkers in the game which holds Cold War references, giving strength to this report.

Activision has not yet confirmed nor denied the report as of this writing.

Remember those times when you spent hours trying to land that 900 just like Tony did over at the X Games? Well now you can do it again in stunning 4K 60FPS as Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 and 2 both receive remasters and is scheduled to release on September 4.

Check out the announcement trailer below:

As announced in the Activision Blog, Vicarious Visions, the studio behind Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, have teamed up to bring back this classic for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via the Epic Store.

It has been confirmed that the original levels and even the songs from the original game will be making a comeback, including online multiplayer.

The levels and the songs aren’t the only ones making a comeback, even the full original roster consisting of Steve Caballero, Geoff Rowley, Bucky Lasek, Elissa Steamer, Kareem Campbell, Andrew Reynolds, Bob Burnquist, Eric Koston, Rodney Mullen, Jamie Thomas, Rune Glifberg, Chad Muska, and Tony Hawk will make their return.

For the real skaters out there, you’ll want to get your hands on this gnarly collectors edition, featuring a limited run Birdhouse deck featuring the Falcon 2 design and a printed autograph of Tony Hawk, along with the game and all the digital deluxe content.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 and 2 will retail for $39.99 (around PHP2,000) and will also feature a digital deluxe edition that includes unique content for $49.99 (around PHP2,500). The Collectors Edition will set you back $99.99 (around PHP5,000).

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 and 2 is scheduled to release on September 4, 2020.
