Ghost of Tsushima is out, and with it, a Collectors Edition that is worthy of a Samurai, even though it costs quite a bit for what you get.
The set, available locally only if you had pre-ordered, costs PHP10,595, which is super pricey compared to its going retail price of $169.99, or around PHP8,500. It is quite heavy for a relatively small box, so that could have bumped up shipping prices a bit. Oh, and taxes also.
In any case, we’re here for the pics, so let’s get to it!
Warning: This post is image heavy.
The outer box, adorned with the key visual of the game. Look at those laminated trim details! Contents on the back part of the box.In another episode of Box-ception, the inner box looks exquisite.
Aaaaand more smaller boxes…
A gorgeous (and very reflective) shrik wrapped collectible steelcase and a 48 page hardcover artbook.
Other contents include a Furoshiki Wrapping Cloth (basically a huge printed cloth which became the base of our images instead of the white background), a Sashimono War Banner bearing the Sakai Clan emblem, and a Cloth Map of the Island of Tsushima.
The highlight of the set – The Sakai Clan Mask. This thing is HEAVY and size-wise, it can fit as a wearable mask. Look at those details!
Sakai Clan Mask size comparisons with a DualShock 4 and a Steelbook case. Like I said, it’s fits the face size-wise! It also comes with a stand, which we didn’t bother to open up.The whole set including the Omamori Key Holder pre-order bonus.Another addition to our tower. This is Tower #8.
