Update: Netflix has officially confirmed and announced the project and will be based on the stories of Leon and Claire. Hiroyuki Kobayashi from Capcom will be executive producer and will be animated by Quebico, the animation studio who worked on Resident Evil: Vendetta.

No other details were given but coming from the trailer, it looks like Leon and Claire are reuniting for another zombie-filled adventure.

Take note that this is different from the previously announced live action series, which will revolve around the Wesker siblings.
