Death Stranding 2 reportedly ‘in negotiations’ says Norman Reedus
We’re less than a month away from Death Stranding Director’s Cut, the definitive version of the game that adds not just all the additional items from the PC release, but also includes a ton of new content like a racetrack for some Mario Kart-style goodness.
Fans looking forward to more of the game in the form of a second installment might just be in luck, as a recent interview with Norman Reedus seemingly hints at a new Death Stranding game.
Courtesy of IGN Brazil from an interview by Adoro Cinema, Reedus says during a The Walking Dead Season 11 roundtable that “I think we’re doing a second Death Stranding.” Further along, he also says that the game “is in negotiations right now. So… yay!”
Obviously, there’s not a lot of information here and some context may be misconstrued as he may have been talking about a separate project altogether, but a sequel isn’t that much of a radical idea since the game was reported to have sold over 5 million copies, making it a commercial success.
