Over the weekend, fans of 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim were treated to a nice surprise as it was revealed during the 2nd anniversary stream that the game will be headed to the Nintendo Switch next year.

The 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim release date worldwide will be on April 12 while Japan will get its release on April 14 and will include the DLC from the PS4 version, which contains a digital artbook and digital secret files.

Our review of the game praised it for the satisfying experience that it gives and the “wonderfully crafted story with enough jaw-dropping twists and reveals that will keep you guessing at its many mysteries.”

Vanillaware is indeed back with a vengeance and if you loved their previous titles like Odin Sphere, then this is certainly a worthy addition to your Switch library when it comes out next year.
