In a disappointing turn of events, the upcoming Chrono Cross: The Radical Dreamers Edition will not include the original soundtrack, despite initial announcements that it would.

On the official website of the game, an update was made that reads the following:

This is rather disappointing, considering that this is a game with a soundtrack that can only be considered as one of the classics that is beloved by many. We can only hope that the new and arranged soundtrack can suffice.

Even though the soundtrack won’t include the original, the game will still offer players the option to switch between the original and the updated 3D models, fonts, illustrations, and filtered backgrounds.
