Cyberpunk 2077 Being Flooded With Very Positive Reviews On Steam
Cyberpunk 2077 has been on quite the ride ever since it was first launched back in 2020. The game has been the shining example of “how not to launch a game”, citing a multitude of bugs and performance issues on the last-gen consoles among other shady things, forcing even Sony to remove the game from the PS store.
Since then, CD Projekt Red has remained committed to fixing the game, spending the last year putting out all sorts of patches and hotfixes to improve the game little by little. Thanks to a recent flood of new players because of an ongoing Black Friday sale that sees the game at a steep 50% discount, Cyberpunk 2077 has been getting loads of ‘Very Positive’ reviews.
Lead Quest Director for Cyberpunk 2077 Paweł Sasko shared over Twitter that Cyberpunk 2077 has received a “flood of very positive reviews” on Steam, finally pushing the much-criticized game into a territory it hasn’t been in for nearly a year. Given that the PC version of the game is the “best” version to play in, it cannot be denied that CDPR have poured a lot of work into improving it to where it is now.
Console players, on the other hand, are eagerly awaiting for the next-gen upgrade before diving into Night City. Sadly, they’ll have to wait much longer as CDPR has delayed the upgrade (and all other updates) into an unspecified window in 2022.
