Elden Ring Runs Really Well Even On The Base PS4
FromSoftware fans looking forward to Elden Ring but don’t have access to the current-gen consoles yet shouldn’t worry because the game will run properly (and run well) even on the base model of the PS4.
YouTube user Lance McDonald, who is well known for his content about Soulsborne games, uploaded a video showing him playing the game on a base PS4, which he says is an incredible feat since it runs a pretty solid 30fps for the most part. It’s great to see that even though the best performance can be had with the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC, last-gen console owners who have not had the chance to upgrade yet won’t be left with an unoptimized product.
This will become more apparent when the closed network test opens up to chosen registrants starting today.
We got the chance to take a look as well at Elden Ring and so far, it is definitely shaping up to be a legit game of the year contender for 2022.
Elden Ring is scheduled for a February 25, 2022 release for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and PC.
