Black Myth: Wukong Surpasses 2.1 Million Players, Becomes Most-played Single-player Game on Steam

Black Myth: Wukong was recently released on PS5 and PC, and despite being available on more than one platform, its availability on Steam is a big topic of discussion due to its staggering numbers, surpassing over 2.1 million players in less than 24 hours.
According to SteamDB, the game now has 2,125,077 concurrent players, placing it second in all-time peak players, vaulting over the likes of Dota 2, Counter-Strike 2, Baldur’s Gate 3, Cyberpunk 2077, and much more.
It has just recently overtaken Palwold, which has 2,101,867 as its registered all-time peak.
It has a ways to go before it beats out PUBG, which has a registered all-time peak of 3,257,248, but anything can happen in a span of a few more hours.
This makes Black Myth: Wukong the most-played single-player game ever.
This is obviously a great achievement for the developers at Game Science and is proof that single-player games are still in high demand.
