After winning the coveted Game of the Year award in 2021, Hazelight Studios is set to bring It Takes Two to the big screen partnered with dj2 Entertainment. It seems that the wheels are turning for the project, as a new report points out that Dwayne Johnson will be joining the crew as executive producer for the upcoming film.
According to an exclusive report by Variety, several personalities have now joined the project, including Seven Bucks Productions (Red Notice, Jungle Cruise, Jumanji: The Next Level) along with Amazon Studios. Dwayne Johnson, popularly known as The Rock, will be producing on behalf of Seven Bucks along with Dany Garcia and Hiram Garcia. Scriptwork will be handled by Pat Casey and Josh Miller from the Sonic The Hedgehog Movies.
Additionally, the report states that Johnson could also take part in the film itself as a cast member, but this has not been confirmed as of writing. It would be interesting to see which cast member he plays as, though!
