After months of rumors and speculation, the Xbox Games Showcase finally made official the return of a beloved franchise in Fable for the Xbox Series X and PC.

The showcase had to close it out with a bang, and this was certainly the way to do it. Check out the announcement trailer below:

Developed by Playground Games, Fable is described as “A new beginning for the legendary franchise. Explore a land of fantastical creatures and wondrous places. Developed by Playground Games for Xbox Series X, and Windows 10 and coming to Xbox Game Pass.”

Pretty short trailer, which really didn’t reveal too much about how it will play or any features but the one good thing we can take out of it is that Fable is finally back and its about time.

No release date or release window was announced and you can probably expect this to be a couple of years out.
