Here’s a first look at Cyberpunk 2077 PC and Console comparison screens
Cyberpunk 2077 reviews have been out but one thing common about all of these is that none were reviewed on any console, be it the current or next-gen consoles, for whatever reason. Courtesy of VGC however, we can now see the first ever comparison images of the PC version with a PS4 version of the game running on a PS5 via backwards compatibility.
For context, the PC images were captured from a machine with the following specs:
- GeForce RTX 2070
- Intel Core i7-8086K @ 4.00GHz
- 16GB of RAM
- All visual settings set to max
- Medium level ray-tracing

Overall, the PS5 (we’re assuming the Xbox Series X should be very similar) version holds up well, with minor differences in overall detail and brightness that surely the average player won’t mind too much. One thing VGC did point out was that even with the day one patch, they still experienced a few graphical issues, so expect CDPR to put out more patches over the days and weeks to come.
Cyberpunk 2077 also unfortunately has a sequence in-game that can trigger epileptic seizures, which will also be patched soon.
Cyberpunk 2077 will release tomorrow, December 10. Feels good to finally say that!
