WrestleMania 37 has come and gone, leaving fans excited at the official reveal of WWE 2K22, which was announced during the event.

The reveal trailer is pretty short, but even from just the visuals alone featuring none other than iconic superstar Rey Mysterio, this is looking to be a huge improvement over the disaster that was WWE 2K20.

Because of 2K20 being heavily criticized, WWE 2K21 was cancelled in favor of 2K Battlegrounds, which also didn’t quite perform as well. Hopefully, 2K22 shows enough promise to bring back the game that the fans deserve.

No details have been given for WWE 2K22 yet, but if tradition holds, we can expect to see this sometime later this year across all major platforms.
