God of War announced for PC, coming in January 2022
One of the greatest games of the previous console generation now makes its long-awaited PC debut as God of War 2018 is set to launch on January 14, 2022 for the PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.
Announced on the PlayStation Blog, God of War will feature 21:9 ultra-widescreen monitor support, unlocked framerates, true 4K resolution, robust controller support along with keyboard mapping customization, and a whole lot of BOY for players who will be experiencing this masterpiece for the first time.
The game will also feature full integration with NVIDIA Deep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS) available on RTX and will include the following content when purchased:
- Death’s Vow Armor Sets for Kratos and Atreus
- Exile’s Guardian Shield Skin
- Buckler of the Forge Shield Skin
- Shining Elven Soul Shield Skin
- Dökkenshieldr Shield Skin
God of War has sold 19.5 million copies as of August 2021 and also won Game of the Year across multiple award-giving bodies and publications, with some even calling it one of the best games ever made. Its sequel, God of War Ragnarok, is scheduled for a 2022 release.
