Hitman Trilogy Announced, New Modes Incoming As Part Of Hitman 3 Year 2
During the recently concluded Hitman Year 2 Reveal Stream, IO Interactive announced that The Hitman Trilogy will be available on January 20 for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and PC. Additionally, the 3 game collection will also be available to Game Pass subscribers on the same date.
Hitman Year 2 Content
More than that, the Year 2 stream revealed new and improved modes coming to the game, including the Elusive Target Arcade (January 20), VR on PC (January 20), the Freelancer mode (Spring 2022), a new map later codenamed “Rocky” this year, and much more.
Most interesting of all is the Freelancer mode, which is a roguelike of sorts, as the player will be able to take control of Agent 47’s safehouse (which you can customize!) where your various tools and weapons can be stored. There are multiple missions that 47 can take, and any equipment you leave behind in the levels will be gone forever, leaving the player with the decision of equipping themselves with the best arsenal for each mission.
All three Hitman games are available now for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and PC.
