Ubisoft Unveils Rainbow Six Siege Year 7 Season 1 ‘Demon Veil’ And 2022 Plans
Ubisoft has revealed the latest season that’s set to hit Rainbow Six Siege. Year 7 Season 1 will be entitled Demon Veil and will introduce Azami, a new Japanese Operator, a new map, a permanent Team Deathmatch game mode, gameplay updates including Attacker Repick, universal sights, and more.
Arguably the highlight of Demon Veil, Azamio is a new defender that is equipped with the Kiba Barrier gadget, making her throwable canisters deploy an expandable material that solidifies into a bulletproof surface, providing fast cover. Azami is a medium speed, medium health Operator, and her loadout features a 9X19SVN or an ACS12 as a primary weapon and a D-50 as a secondary weapon.
An exclusive new map will also arrive mid-season – the Emerald Plains. Set in Ireland, this modern country club challenges players to master a new environment and its multiple levels.
Among other features, Rainbow Six Siege Year 7 Season 1 will also allow attackers to change their operators and loadout during the preparation phase and will be available for all game modes in the Quick Match, Unranked, Ranked, and Pro League playlists.
Additionally, Demon Veil will see the addition of a permanent team deathmatch game mode and a match replay and spectator mode for console players.
Rainbow Six Siege Year 7 Roadmap
Ubisoft also announced the full 2022 roadmap for Rainbow Six Siege, which outlines a year worth of updates and new features that players can expect. A total of 4 new operators will join the fray, along with 4 new battle passes to sink your teeth on.
Rainbow Six Siege is now available to play on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and PC.
