Activision has announced that the recently concluded Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II Beta was one for the record books, as it became the biggest beta in CoD history in most players, most hours, and most matches played across all platforms.

The beta featured only a small slice of the content that players can expect from Modern Warfare II as it aims for a worldwide release on October 28.

In the weeks ahead, players who pre-order Modern Warfare II will get up to one week of Early Campaign access before its global launch. A ton of rewards will also greet players who have leveled up during the open beta.

Additionally, Warzone Mobile is the fastest Activision/Blizzard/King mobile game to top 15 million pre-registrations on Google Play, and rewards will be given to all players once certain milestones have been broken, such as the Emblem: Dark Familiar and Vinyl: Foe’s Flame as well as the X12 Prince of Hell Blueprint and M4 – Archfiend Weapon Blueprints when the game launches next year.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II will be coming on October 28, 2022 for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and PC via Battlenet and Steam.
