Monster Hunter Rise Officially Announced for PlayStation and Xbox in January 2023
Capcom has officially announced that Monster Hunter Rise will be available for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and PC via Windows on January 20, 2023. The game will also be available on Game Pass.
Additionally, it was also announced that the paid Sunbreak expansion will not be part of the launch in January, but will release later in Spring 2023.
The game will release with a Deluxe Edition, which will include the main game along with a number of bonuses, including:
- Monster Hunter Rise main game
- Hunter layered armor “Kamurai” set
- Palamute layered armor piece “Shuriken Collar”
- Palico layered armor piece “Fish Collar”
- Gestures (4 Jumps)
- Samurai pose set
- Kabuki face paint
- “Izuchi Tail” hairstyle
Pre-order bonuses include the Palamute Retriever Costume layered armor, Palico Forest Cat Costume layered armor, and a Novice Talisman for some extra assistance in the early stages.
The Xbox version will support smart delivery and Xbox play anywhere, while the PlayStation version will allow for both PS4 and PS5 versions to be downloaded. Both do not support cross-play or cross-saves with other platforms.
Some of the features of this new release will include:
- 4K 60 FPS or 1080p 120 FPS support
- Adaptive trigger support (PS5)
- 3D Audio
- Prior title updates already included in this version
