Capcom has released brand-new gameplay footage of the Trickster vocation from Dragon’s Dogma 2, showcasing its unique playstyle.

Courtesy of a feature from IGN First, we get a detailed look at the Trickster, a vocation that uses illusions to trick and defeat foes, or in some cases, trick them into defeating themselves.

The Trickster is also described as a pacifist, doing very little damage with its Ceremonial Censer weapon, but builds up aggro, leading enemies to the Trickster, and then unleashing an ability called Effegial Incense, creating a clone while leading enemies to certain death over cliffs and other environmental obstacles.

The Trickster also has other abilities like Tricky Terrace, creating a cloud that fools enemies into thinking it is solid ground, and Illusive Divider, creating a smoke wall that the enemy cannot see through.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 is scheduled to release on March 22, 2024, for PS5, Xbox Series, and PC.
