Let’s Unbox the Tekken 8 Premium Collector’s Edition
Tekken 8 has received critical acclaim ever since its release back in January, capping off arguably one of the best eras of fighting games where the latest titles of well-known franchises all exist at the same time.
To honor such a monumental release, several editions of the game were launched, offering players various ways to get into the game with varying bonuses. Out of the game’s various editions, Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia has come out with a premium Collector’s Edition for the biggest fans of the series who want the full experience.
The Tekken 8 Connections Premium Collector’s Edition retails for $299 (PHP 15,950) and is the most premium edition of the game. It is largely sold out across retailers, even at the Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia store.

It goes without saying that the Tekken 8 Premium Collector’s Edition is pricey and not for everyone. Since it comes with the Ultimate Edition of the game, it goes without saying that you’re looking at playing the game for the long haul.
Players will be treated to several physical goods, but most importantly, the 25cm Jin figurine that lights up to reveal a fiery wing that showcases his devil power. It’s a great-looking display with some fine details, and the light-up nature of it sets it apart from the usual figures from other collector’s editions.
Let’s Unbox the Tekken 8 Premium Collector’s Edition
First up, we get the usual box that these editions come in. It has to be said that the Tekken 8 cover art goes hard, and the box itself is a fine display piece because of it.
Removing the outer sleeve of the Tekken 8 Premium Collector’s Edition reveals another box that features some fine artwork that’s worth a look.
Opening the box reveals the game, a DLC insert, and a lovely steelbook that’s sure to please Tekken fans.
We couldn’t pass up the opportunity to put it side by side with the Tekken 7 steelbook, which reveals striking similarities!
Further in, we get to see the 5cm Arcade Token, Leroy’s ring, and a set of trading cards.
Lastly, we have the Jin figure, which features a nice sculpt and decent details worthy of the Tekken 8 Premium Collector’s Edition.
There’s a USB-C socket at the base of the figure where you can plug in the included cable to light up the figure in all its fiery glory.

Overall, the Tekken 8 Premium Collector’s Edition is a nice but pricey package that’s aimed at the more hardcore fans of the series. Featuring pieces that collectors would be envious of, including a light-up figure that looks stunning as a display piece, this package is fitting for an explosive title.
