Fans are looking forward to Tekken 8 to finally see the next chapter in the ongoing story between Jin and Kazuya, and the game delivers it amazingly with “The Dark Awakens” Story Mode. We’ll get to see what happens after the events of Tekken 7, along with the ensuing chaos, and how the rest of the cast fits into the grand scheme of things.

Tekken 8 “The Dark Awakens” Story Mode takes place 6 months after the events of Tekken 7 and tells the story of Jin Kazama as he goes on an all-out pursuit to stop Kazuya Mishima from ruling the world.

Tekken 8 “The Dark Awakens” Story Mode has a total of 15 chapters, all of which you can see below:

Tekken 8 “The Dark Awakens” Story Mode will take players around 4-6 hours to beat on default settings, depending on how they play. Of course, this estimate can be shortened should players choose to tweak some settings, like difficulty level, for a much easier and faster run. Likewise, depending on skill level, playing through may take longer.

There are also Character Episodes per character on the roster, each consisting of 5 matches that can take a total of 10–20 minutes per character for a total of 5-8 hours for all 32 characters, again depending on play style.

In total, Tekken 8’s The Dark Awakens Story Mode, along with all the Character Episodes, could set players back by around 8–15 hours of playtime. Again, these estimates will vary depending on the overall skill level of the player and what settings they choose to play the game on.
