Bungie has announced that the anticipated two-month content update, Destiny 2: Into the Light, is launching on April 9, 2024, and will be available for all players.

In anticipation of the upcoming launch, a series of three livestreams featuring the development team will highlight fresh content, exciting features, and enticing rewards through hands-on gameplay. These livestreams are scheduled for March 19, March 26, and April 2.

Additionally, viewers will have the opportunity to acquire two exclusive emblems via Twitch Drops during the livestream series. For detailed instructions on linking accounts and earning these drops, refer to Bungie’s This Week in Destiny blog.

Destiny 2 is also teaming up with Ghostbusters to introduce themed in-game items on March 19, coinciding with the release of Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire in theaters on March 22.

The Ghostbusters Firehouse accessory pack includes a Slimer Exotic Ghost shell, a Garraka-inspired Exotic Sparrow, and an Ecto-1-themed Exotic ship.

As an added bonus, any player who purchases a Ghostbusters item from the Eververse in-game store will be eligible to download a physical Bungie Rewards Slimer Ghost shell papercraft mask at no extra cost.

Lastly, the Guardian Games All-Stars event is currently underway and will continue until March 26. Hunters, Titans, and Warlocks are competing for class supremacy through various in-game challenges.

To celebrate this special All-Star occasion, all participating players can enjoy the new hoverboard Skimmer vehicle, complete with impressive tricks!

Destiny 2: The Final Shape is scheduled to launch on June 4, 2024.
