SEGA has announced that the Shin Megami Tensei V series has now exceeded 1.6 million units in sales, both physical and digital, worldwide.
First launched on November 11, 2021, the game was initially a Nintendo Switch exclusive and sold over 1 million copies while achieving global acclaim. Vengeance, released on June 14, is an enhanced version of the game, bringing new features, a new story, and various system enhancements along with multi-platform availability.
Vengeance sold over 500,000 units in just three days after it was released.
Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance offers a full-fledged RPG experience with immersive new features, including improvements to the battle system, Demon Fusion, and field exploration, that will satisfy both newcomers to the series and players who’ve already completed the original version.
