Prime Video has officially shared the first look at the upcoming God of War TV series, giving fans a glimpse of Kratos and Atreus in live action.

The adaptation will cover the events of the two most recent PlayStation titles (2018 and Ragnarök), bringing the father-and-son journey to Prime Video.

The image shows Kratos (Ryan Hurst) and Atreus (Callum Vinson) out on a hunt, reminiscent of the opening sequence from God of War (2018).

Joining Ryan Hurst in the show are the likes of Max Parker as Heimdall, Teresa Palmer as Sif, Mandy Patinkin and Ólafur Darri Ólafsson as Odin and Thor, and Ed Skrein as Baldur.
