Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia and developer Media.Vision have revealed a large-scale expansion DLC for Digimon Story Time Stranger, scheduled to launch in 2027.

The announcement was made during Digimon Con 2026, alongside the results of the 139th Digimon Referendum, where fans voted on which Digimon they’d like to see in future titles. The top Digimon that players voted on were Gammamon, Loogamon, Kazemon, Gumdramon, and Pulsemon.

Producer Ryosuke Hara confirmed that while not all referendum results will be included, some will influence the expansion’s world-building and future Digimon titles. He also teased the return of Aegiomon, voiced by Mutsumi Tamura, hinting at possible parallel worlds or future timelines.

No other information about this expansion DLC was revealed.

Digimon Story Time Stranger Current Availability

Digimon Story: Time Stranger is already available on PS5, Xbox Series, and PC, with a Switch 2 and Switch release set for July 2026.
