Marvel Games and NetEase Games have revealed full details for Marvel Rivals Season 10.5, launching on October 9 and continuing the game’s ongoing Path to Doomsday storyline with new game modes, larger battles, and seasonal events.
Following the events of Season 10, players will experience the next chapter of the conflict through a pair of modes inspired by two of Marvel’s biggest cinematic spectacles, beginning with Path to Doomsday: Avengers Infinity War.
Path to Doomsday: Avengers Infinity War Arrives October 9
Season 10.5 kicks off with a brand-new 2v2 PvP mode designed around short rounds, randomized upgrades, and strategic team compositions. In Path to Doomsday: Avengers Infinity War, 12 players will be divided into six teams of two, selecting from a roster of 13 heroes featured in the original film. Each duo will battle opponents in a series of fast-paced deathmatches set in Wakanda. Between rounds, players can select random cards that enhance stats and abilities, creating unique builds every match and forcing teams to adapt on the fly.
Adding another layer of strategy, every team will begin with a randomly assigned Infinity Stone, granting powerful abilities capable of turning the tide of battle. Eliminated teams will leave their Infinity Stone behind, allowing surviving players to claim additional powers as the match progresses.
A Massive Endgame Battle Begins October 22
The next phase of the event begins on October 22 with Path to Doomsday: Avengers Endgame.
Unlike the competitive Infinity War mode, Endgame shifts the action toward a large-scale cooperative experience. In this new PvE mode, 50 players will gather within the ruins of the Avengers Compound to stand against Thanos and his invading forces. The mode is set to become one of the largest battles ever featured in Marvel Rivals, placing dozens of heroes into a single encounter against overwhelming odds.
Annihilation Mode Expands
Season 10.5 will also broaden the scope of the game’s popular 18 vs 18 Annihilation mode.
As part of the update, players can fight across a new battleground, Alchemax Headquarters, adding another location to the ever-growing roster of destructible maps featured throughout Marvel Rivals.
Halloween Takes Over Marvel Rivals
The spookiest time of the year is also making its way into Marvel Rivals.
Starting October 15, players can participate in the All Hallows’ Glow event, offering a variety of Halloween-themed costume and cosmetic rewards. The festivities continue on October 29 with Night of Illusions, an interactive puzzle-driven experience promising mystery, suspense, and exclusive rewards for participants.
Alongside the events, Season 10.5 will also introduce a fresh selection of Halloween-themed costumes and cosmetics for players looking to dress their favorite heroes and villains for the occasion.
