Call of Duty: Vanguard Alpha available on PlayStation later this week
PlayStation Players will get first dibs on the Champion Hill mode when it hits Alpha access later this week, as announced by Sony on the PlayStation Blog.
Call of Duty: Vanguard’s Champion Hill Alpha begins on August 27, 10 AM Pacific (August 28, 1 AM Philippines) and if you have Modern Warfare, Warzone, or Black Ops Cold War installed, you can access the alpha through the main menu once you have downloaded the alpha client. No preorders required, no PS Plus required.
Champion Hill is a 2v2 or 3v3 round-robin style tournament mode against 7 other groups with the objective of reducing their life count to zero. Teams will start with the same loadout and along the course of the match, will pick up cash to upgrade gear and purchase new weapons during buy rounds. It’s going to be a tactical battle, and those who can adjust will certainly take Champion Hill.
