Porsche Gran Turismo Cup Asia Pacific kicks off on September 5
Porsche Asia Pacific has announced that a new esports event will be kicking off on September 5 in the form of the Porsche Gran Turismo Cup Asia Pacific.
Organized by Porsche Asia Pacific together with Porsche Japan, Porsche Korea, and Porsche Taiwan, the tournament will be played in Gran Turismo Sport and will be open to participants from Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Brunei, the Philippines, and New Zealand.
There will be 5 qualifying rounds and the top 5 players across the region will join the top 5 from Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan to face off in the final round where the winner will receive the grand prize of an all-expenses-paid Porsche weekend in Tokyo, including a visit to the Porsche Experience Centre Tokyo and many more Porsche moments.
The qualifying races will be held at the most famous racing circuits around the globe including the Circuit de la Sarthe from the 24 Hours of Le Mans, Fuji Speedway, the Mount Panorama Circuit of the Bathurst 24 Hour race, and the Goodwood Motor Circuit.
To participate in the online qualifiers, log into Gran Turismo Sport and simply select the event titled “Porsche Gran Turismo Cup Asia Pacific”.
