According to an interview with Geek Culture, Narrative Director Ben McCaw revealed that Carrie-Anne Moss (The Matrix) is playing the role of Tilda, who you can see towards the tail-end of the trailer. Not much was said about her character, but it was mentioned that “She’s a very mysterious character with a special relationship with the ancient past.”
Not only that, as per Game Informer, Angela Bassett (Black Panther) will be playing the role of Regalla, saying that she will be one of the primary antagonists in the game – “Aloy’s going to fight Regalla’s forces throughout the game and she will fight Regalla, as well.”
Details on the PlayStation Blog also mentions the following:
The next chapter of Aloy’s story begins on February 18, and she’ll face a storm of new threats: a world-ending blight, Regalla and her rebels, Sylens and his machinations… plus many new dangers that have yet to be revealed.
But as she ventures into the frontier of the Forbidden West, Aloy won’t face these perils alone. She’ll be joined by companions both fresh and familiar, including stalwarts like Varl and Erend, along with new allies like Zo, Alva, and Kotallo.
