Cyberpunk 2077 is back on the PlayStation Store, best played on PS4 Pro or PS5
How long has it been since Cyberpunk 2077 was booted out of the PS Store? Too long, and now, both CDPR and Sony have reached an agreement that allows the game back into the PS Store, allowing users to purchase the game digitally.
As the announcement made its rounds on social media, Sony have made a caveat that the PS4 version is still a work in progress and more updates will be released this year. Along with this, Sony recommends to play it on the PS4 Pro or PS5 if available.
Over at the other side of the fence, CDPR made mention that the next-gen upgrade will be available in the second half of 2021, which is still in line with their prior announcement, saying that both The Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk 2077 will indeed get their updates this year.
As it stands, Cyberpunk 2077 retails for $49.99 on the PS Store, and at least its an option for players who haven’t taken advantage of the various discounts for the past 6 months. It has been quite an unprecedented ride, especially for a game that was highly touted as a possible GOTY contender prior to its release.
