HBO Releases First Footage From The Last of Us Series

HBO has released the first footage from the upcoming The Last of Us series, starring Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey.

The full trailer, which is a compilation of various shows, ends with a roughly 30-second clip showing both Pascal and Ramsey in action as Joel and Ellie. There are a few scenes here and there, but we get to see one of the more well-known scenes involving a discussion with both characters about loss. We also see a glimpse of the heartbreaking opening scene!

The Last of Us starts at around the 1:40 mark of the video below:

The upcoming series from HBO is slated to run for 10 episodes in its first season that’s scheduled for 2023, with a second season not being officially confirmed or announced yet.

The Last of Us is directed Craig Mazin (Chernobyl) and produced in partnership with Neil Druckmann from Naughty Dog. The remake of the first game is scheduled to release on September 2, 2022.
