Let’s Unbox the One Piece Odyssey Collector’s Edition

One Piece Odyssey is launching… checks notes… on January 12, 2023! After a long wait, fans of the series will finally take control of the Straw Hats to take them on an adventure unlike any other. This time around, Bandai Namco and ILCA are moving away from the action/fighting game formula and taking the franchise into JRPG territory.

Just in case you’re still on the fence, a demo of the game has been made available so that aspiring Straw Hats can try it out before going all the way.

True fans of the series will have already pre-ordered the Collector’s Edition ever since it was revealed last year. The One Piece Odyssey retails for a price of PHP 9,495 (at least based on the Bandai Namco Asia Store)—pretty standard fare for Collector’s Editions in this day and age.

Here’s everything included in the One Piece Odyssey Collector’s Edition:

  • Collector’s Box
  • Main Game
  • Luffy and Lim Figurines
  • Steel Case
  • 3 Postcards
  • Adventure Expansion Pack – Additional Scenario, Ultra Useful Accessory Set (4 items), 100,000 Berries
  • Deluxe Edition Bonus Content – Sniper King Outfit Set (Evasion +15 and TP Cost Reduction Petite Jewelry Set, Sniper King Outfit)

Considering the price, the One Piece Odyssey Collector’s Edition is quite expensive if we were to base it simply on the number of physical items included. Except for the Luffy and Lim figurines, we are only getting the base game, the collectible steel case, and some postcards. It’s not bad at all, but given our affinity for One Piece, we definitely wanted more!

Despite that, players are getting a ton of in-game goodies that will help them throughout their adventure, so anyone looking for a boost will be treated to some pretty valuable items that pretty much even out the physical offerings.

Without further ado, let’s unbox the One Piece Odyssey Collector’s Edition!

We also have some postcards showcasing the various characters in the series.

Lastly, we have the fairly detailed Luffy and Lim figurines that are the highlight of the One Piece Odyssey Collector’s Edition. While Luffy is certainly an iconic personality, Lim is a new character being introduced in the game by Oda-Sensei himself. Look forward to meeting her and Adio soon!

The figure is not too big, nor is it too heavy, and would make a perfect desktop decoration for One Piece fans looking to try out the game for themselves.
